When students need a warning to settle down they are told to go sign the OOPS! board. There is a clipboard with the OOPS! form kept near the door. Students sign their name, date, and class number. At the beginning of the year if their name is on the board three times in one class hour they get a write-up. As the year goes on they only get two or one chances. Classroom teachers are able to check the board when they collect their class and can assist in following up on discipline issues. Usually signing once helps a child settle down. All of our related arts classes at our school use the same form. Consistency is key.

This application helps us organize and select which artworks will go to each art show we participate in each year. Students can submit up to three (or more) artworks for consideration. This way we know that we're not sending too many of one type of work to a certain show. Additionally, it is a great resource for mailing out invitations to parents, creating tags for works, and for general organization. A release form is also integrated into this form. When we receive the forms back from students we alphabetize them in a 3-ring binder.

This worksheet guides students through creating visual analogies and images to help reinforce the concepts of symbolism, and collect their thoughts for the sketching process. The illustrations are then added together in Movie-Maker and narrated by the students to create a movie and reading of the poem.
