Colors In Motion

Using the colors of the rainbow students will create and color a series of silhouettes of animals in motion.

THE PLAN
3 sessions; 30 minutes per session

1. SWBAT draw a silhouettes of animals moving.

2. SWBAT use the colors of the rainbow to color their silhouettes.

1. Paper

2. Markers, watercolor or crayons.

3. Black sharpie

1. Using photos, books or the internet draw/trace the various movements of one particular animal. Make atleast 6 (Use as many sheets of paper necessary.

2. Outline your drawings in black then color them in the colors of the rainbow.

A fun project for the little ones to learn about animals and how they travel.
