Zentangle Silhouette Doodles

Students will create fun and simple zentangle doodles using silhouettes.

THE PLAN
2 sessions; 35 minutes per session

1. SWBAT learn about and create zentangle patterns.

2. SWBAT apply what they learned and create a zentangle silhouette doodle.

1. Drawing paper

2. Black sharpie markers

3. Pencil with eraser

Need these materials? Visit Blick!

1. On your drawing paper sketch out an outline of a person, object or animal.

2. Start filling the space around the outline with zentangle patterns with a black marker. (If you're unsure of what to put, sketch your doodles out in pencil first. Then go over your lines in
marker.)


Great project to work on with students on a rainy day or with a sub.
