THE PLAN
I did a different category of Bell Ringer each day.
Monday: Right Brain Warm Up
Tuesday: Art History
Wednesday: Right Brain Warm Up
Thursday: Summary Paragraph
Friday: Would You Rather/Writing Prompts

Most days I just put 1/4 sheets of paper out on the tables but a few of the right brain warm ups required previously printed and copied sheets (I can pass those along if you'd like!) These could also be done in sketchbooks.

*If you are interested in the articles used for the summary paragraphs (a cross-curricular initiative my school started)comment below or message me and I can send them to you via email.

    Love this! So extremely helpful!! 2nd year teacher, and I did not do bell ringers at all last year, but now I do see the value in them and what a time saver this is. Plan to add some if I can think of anything you didn't! (which it does not look like!!)
    I would love the sheets and articles you used for this if at all possible. This is going to save me so much time this year as 9th grade just got added to my schedule and I have NO curriculum for them yet. This is so awesome, if you lived closer I'd take you to dinner to thank you. If you do have any materials to add, please email them to pmccullough@gmail.com and I will be eternally grateful.

    I have been doing warm-ups (which I call journals), for years and they are a very helpful beginning. Thank you for sharing yours. I have been using drawing for Monday and Friday and sometimes other days, and mostly getting-to-know-you questions for the other days, but they are getting thin by this time of the semester. I am inspired to add back in art history. Thanks!

    These are great. I am teaching a sheltered visual arts (ELL students who have little or interrupted previous schooling). These will be easily modified for the short beginning activities each class will start with. Thank you
