Students will create still life drawings of their favorite and most used tools they like to create art with. This project is meant to introduce students to other types/brands of art supplies they might not be aware of.

THE PLAN
2 sessions; 40 minutes per session

1. SWBAT create a still life drawing of their favorite art supplies.

2. SWBAT share with the class why they love using their favorite supplies over others.

1. Drawing paper (Thicker paper if planning on using watercolor or acrylic paint.)

2. Art medium of choice

3. Favorite art supplies (Either a photo or the actual item to use for your still life drawing.)

Need these materials? Visit Blick!

1. Select your favorite art supplies that you plan on drawing. (Bring at least three)

2. Arrange supplies in front of you and start drawing. (You will also use those same supplies to complete your picture.)

3. After everyone is done. Students will share their favorite supplies with the class, explaining why they like to use them.

This project is all about sharing what you know with others.
