1. SWBAT design one of a kind shoes based off a contour drawing.

2. Paper

3. Black micron pen or sharpie

4. Mixed media (watercolor, markers, crayons, etc.)

1. Show students examples of different shoe designs.

2. With a pencil students will begin sketching a shoe. Students can use one of their own shoes as a reference or a photo of one from the internet.

3. Begin sketching out a design for your shoe. Think about patterns, textures or even go futuristic. You do not have to take comfort in consideration. You can make your shoe look however you want.

4. Next outline your drawing with a black micron pen or sharpie and color it.
