Students will create 2 still life drawings of the same subject. A before & after. An example could be the ingredients for a cookie and the cookie itself.
Sample picture 1. is a banana & a banana peel. Sample picture 2. is a seedling & a flower.

THE PLAN
3 sessions; 40 minutes per session
1. SWBAT create 2 still life drawings. A before and after.
1. Paper
2. Pencil
3. Objects or reference photos to draw
4. Ink pens, markers, colored pencils, etc. (optional)
1. Select objects to draw. If you don’t have the objects physically in front of you use photos. They can be photos taken by you or reference photos from the internet.
2. Students will now draw two versions of the same object. A before and after still life drawing (example: a seedling & a flower). Use whatever art medium you prefer.
