Multiple Level Worksheet

Art Classroom Job Application

Created on August 13, 2012 by epictraveler

Mimic the real world job application process by finding out from your students why they think they would be good at whatever classroom job they want most. You could also tie in classroom jobs with investment by providing an incentive/reward for those that have classroom jobs and do them well. (See my link to my "Art Bucks" Resource for an idea on this)

THE PLAN
1 session; 30 minutes per session

1. SWBAT become invested in classroom procedures.
2. SWBAT reflect on their preferences, talents, and abilities.
3. SWBAT mimic the job application process

1.) Describe the roles of each job (see attached slideshow). Have students complete the top half "interest inventory" during this process.

2.) Have students complete the job application questions.

The SmartBoard Notebook file I attached has my classroom job descriptions.

Created in PowerPoint to be print-ready and also fully customizable/editable.

This resource is great at the beginning of the year for getting to know your students natural talents/traits such as organization or responsibility.
