This is a resource used by New York City visual art teachers with benchmarks, suggested themes, and project ideas for each grade, K-12. It also includes ways to link to other cross-curriculum subjects such as literacy or math.

My Art II students are currently working on 3D Interpretations of Famous Artworks out of cardboard similar to the Van Gogh Cardboard Bedroom on p. 33 of the document
(see page number in bottom left corner, different than the actual number of pages in the document.)

I'll hope to post examples of these when we finish
