High [9th-12th] Lesson Plan

Art Criticism: Personal Artwork

Created on October 27, 2013 by MrsImpey

This is a worksheet that I have created to start using for students to reflect on their personal artworks. I have structured it to have questions that fall under the four art criticism steps of description, analysis, interpretation and judgement (which is the reflection piece for them).

This is simply a worksheet that I am going to start giving my students at the end of every project. It will tell me if they have understood what the project itself was about and it will give them a chance to reflect on the practice they learned, as well as their growing artistic ability.

This serves as an assessment without grading a project using a rubric.
