    Yes, this year was my first time doing the portfolio submission. It was ok

    At my school, we a starting our recruiting process for 2013-2014. We have an open house night for parents, but outside of that and informative posters, we don't have much for advertising or recruitment.

    Any ideas? How do you create hype for your AP class?

    This was my first year as an AP teacher. Submission was trying, but we got it done. My biggest challenge was keeping the students on track. Even though I gave them a time line with due dates I still had students not getting done in a timely manner. It affected their grade, but it made me crazy as I had set early deadlines so they wouldn't be working up until the last minute, but that didn't work. Some of them acted like they just didn't care, or that it wasn't a big deal. Any suggestions?
