Artworks 2014 Conference, NYC, Oct. 25th

I want to share with fellow smARTteachers information about a fabulous 1 day conference to be held in NYC on Saturday, October 25. The annual NYCATA(NY Art Teacher's Association/UFT conference, "Artworks '14".

    It will be held at the HS of Art and Design located at 245 E 56 Street (between 2nd & 3rd Avenues) New York, NY10022 from 8:30 to 4:30. Keynote speaker is artist of the year Judy Pfaff, printmaker and installation artist.
    I attended last year and was very impressed. Each participant gets to pick several workshops and there are networking opportunities as well as exhibitor booths. I attended the Morgan Library Book project workshop, which I applied for and this year am bringing into my class. I liked it so much I volunteered to help out with publicity this year.
