Art is...Japanese Daruma Dolls

Created on July 19, 2014 by Hope200

Daruma Dolls were traditional symbols of Good Luck and perseverence. They were usually painted red and had black moustaches to symbolize the founder of Zen Buddhism. Today they are more up to date, vary in color and in design. It is important to care for your Daruma Doll carefully. As you make your wish, you color in one eye. When your wish comes true, you color the other one.
