1. Showed a power point on sculpture and talked about the difference between 2-D and 3-D.
2. Had students brainstorm ideas. Made a list of some of their favorite meals. Looked a pictures in magazines of food for ideas.
3. Showed students different construction methods with paper. For instances, if you cut a tab out it gives you a place to glue two pieces together.
4. Each student was given a white paper plate and had to fill the entire plate with paper food.
5. Clean-up (stapled on bulletin board for display)

Students verbally responded to question during the power point.
Student projects were evaluated based on a set rubric.

This is a great lesson to introduce students to sculpture!
