THE PLAN
1. Students will be able to use the elements and principles of design as a framework to create a drawing that represents them.
2. Students will be able to interpret and apply meanings of visual images, themes, and ideas in a drawing.
3. Students will be able to produce a technically sound composition that includes strong imagery.

1. Planning paper (for rough draft)
2. Paper
3. Pencil
4. Drawing pen (to outline)
5. Color Pencils

1. Do a self inventory and brainstorm about yourself
2. Complete a rough draft planning sheet
3. On final paper, complete the layout in pencil.
4. Add drawing pen to add emphasis
5. Add color pencil

Students will be assessed based on the attached rubric.
