3 sessions; 40 minutes per session

1. SWBAT create a still life drawing.

2. SWBAT complete drawing with each section done in a different style or with a different medium.

2. Since this is a mixed media project you can use ANYTHING.

1. With a pencil students will sketch out a still life picture. Split drawing into 4 sections. To start this project off have the class draw the same item to later show how different each picture will look.

2. On scrap sheets of paper have students come up with 4 suggestions on how to do a section of their picture and place inside of a container. Examples: Only primary colors, only Acrylic paint, use stippling, etc. (Teacher should approve each suggestion before they are submitted.)

3. Have each students pick 4 suggestions from the container and do what it says on their picture.

Half the fun is seeing what kind of suggestions students come up with and how their fellow classmates apply it to their artwork.
