Students will make a drawing of the sun and the moon using warm and cool colors.

THE PLAN
2 sessions; 30 minutes per session

1. SWBAT create a sum/moon drawing using warm & cool colors.

1. Drawing paper

2. Object to make circles with

3. Black marker or pen

4. Crayons, markers or paint

5. Drawing pencil

1. Create a circle large enough to fill most of the paper.

2. Draw a curved line inside the circle making a crescent moon. The other half will become the sun. Add any extra details to your drawing.

3. Outline the drawing in black. Then color using a mix of warm & cool colors.
