1. An assortment of papers:
newspaper, decorative papers, magazines, construction paper, tissue paper etc...

Showing this video by Mark Paper Scissors on YouTube is a fun way to inspire ideas in collage.

When students complete their collage techniques they can explore their own collage creations.

A great exercise before introduction a collage artist such as Matisse or Bearden.
