Spoken Word Paint Splatters

Students will create paint splatters using a straw and the sound of their voice.

THE PLAN
1 session; 40 minutes per session

1. Paint (watercolor or watered down acrylics)

2. Drinking straw

3. Watercolor paper or thick cardstock

4. Paintbrush

5. Sharpie

Need these materials? Visit Blick!

1. Apply a lot of water to your paint, than use you paintbrush to place a few drops onto your paper. Using your straw try to say a word or two as you blow the paint around. Do this as many times you think is necessary. Let the paint dry overnight.

2. With a sharpie write down the words you were saying on the front.
