1. Practice drawing together sea creatures
2. Redraw a creature on the final paper in pencil to fill the page
3. Trace over the pencil with the black crayon.
4. Add water lines in the background using the markers. Use thin and thick lines and put some lines over the creature so it looks like it is in the water.
DAY 2
5. Introduce warm and cool colors
6. Do a demo on using oil pastels, blending with finger, overlapping colors and scrapping off top color to reveal the bottom color.
7. Tell students to color the creature in neatly and fully covering the white of the paper.
8. After they are finished coloring the creature, spray some water on the paper and watch the ink bleed to look like water.
