Inspired by other well known legacy projects, graduating students will create a legacy cube from six 5” x 5” canvas boards that represents their values and identity to be left and displayed after their graduation.

You may use any variety of art media you would like.

Acrylic paint
Watercolor paint
Collage
Relief sculpture with found objects.
Permanent marker
Oil pastels
Mixed media
Etc.

Each mini canvas board must have its own completed work of art.

Here are some things to consider when determining what you would like to create on each canvas:

Capture an important moment in time.
Create an illustration of your close group of friends.

Paint a special moment in a memorable game.

Create an illustration of great experience you recall during a trip.

Express an emotion you remember feeling.

Illustrate a quote that holds importance to you..

Draw an important object or place to you.

Favorite candy, drink, restaurant, store, etc.

Design a unique monogram.

Create a unique work of art that represents your artistic voice.

There really are no restrictions on this piece - let your creativity shine.

2. When each mini canvas is complete, carefully assemble the cube by using hot glue on the backside of each canvas; see instructor for these materials.
