THE PLAN
Students learn about Andy Goldsworthy who made art from nature.

Students find elements from nature and arrange them to create an outdoor piece of art.

Items from nature: rocks, leaves, sticks, shells, pine cones, etc...

Need these materials? Visit Blick!

Show students outdoor artwork by Andy Goldsworthy for inspiration.

Go on a nature walk and collect interesting items such as different color leaves, sticks, rocks, shells, etc...

Find an interesting place to arrange your pieces into a mandala or other piece of art.


Take a picture!


Safety first! Students should get parent permission or go with an adult so as not to touch any harmful things such as poison ivy, or get lost!!
