Students will create a bracelet with handmade ceramic beads and leather cord.

Student bracelets must include at least 8 beads varying in size/width/shape.

Students will determine what shape/design they want each bead in their bracelet to look like.

Students will complete a ‘Brainstorm Sketch’ worksheet.

Students will create their ceramic beads using white clay-body.

Students will consider texture features.

Students must be sure each bead has consistent holes.

Ceramic beads will be bisque fired.

Students will consider what color scheme they want for their bracelet and glaze each ceramic bead.

Students will consider pattern application options.

Students will consider color gradation effects.

Ceramic beads will be glaze fired.
Students will assemble their bracelet with thin leather cord.

Students will create knots between their beads to hold them in place.
