Rubric template & signs

Created on April 01, 2012 by MrsKey

I use the same rubric with every project. I change the criteria to fit the project and pass one out to each student after I have explained the lesson. It helps students understand EVERYTHING they must do to achieve the grade they want. Plus, if they forget what they need to do they always have it to double check. I have the signs posted in my room too to show them how they are doing.

Thanks for sharing this... we are going to have to start grading on the report card for art next year and I have over 450 students! I was feeling overwhelmed! This helps!

Great resource, the wording is very clear and easy to understand. Keeping a consistent three, for me "creativiy, craft, clean up" is a great way for kids to know what success looks like. I think effort is a btter third category though! *steal*

Nice poster. I changed the type font, added bullets, made each fit one page. Easier for my ELA students in CA to understand. I posted it on my page if you're interested.
