I use these worksheets to introduce value to my students. Side one contains three value scales to shade in and side two is comprised of three forms and light sources to practice applying value.

THE PLAN
I have used this worksheet with 4th grade and up. I have attached another worksheet that I found a few years ago on the internet with examples of shading techniques. I cannot give my source for it because I can't remember where I got it from! If it's yours, please let me know!
