4. SWBAT draw a zebra.
5. SWBAT paint a zebra in a complementary color scheme.
6. SWBAT define the term "homophone".
7. SWBAT write a compliment coming from their zebra.
1. Complementary Zebra PowerPoint
2. White paper 12x18

1. Go through PowerPoint slides 1-6 with students.
- discuss line and shape of the zebra
2. Students draw a zebra using pencils
3. Discuss Complementary Colors
- Go through rest of PowerPoint slides
4. Students chose a complementary color pair
5. Paint zebra with complementary color pair
6. Add Black marker lines to define lines and details
7. Discuss homophones - complement and compliment
8. Write a compliment coming from your zebra to another one
Students will be assessed by reviewing the final artwork for craftsmanship, creativity, and directions followed
