Lace Sketchbook Cover

This video was put together by my 6th grade art students as they were experimenting with lace and spray paint. The result are awesome and are a great way for students to personalize their sketchbooks.

1. Lace
2. Spraypaint
3. Sketchbook or any other material you would like to have a lace texture.

While this technique is used on a sketchbook, I would love to hear other was in which you have used this technique. I think it would be really interesting in a mixed-media layered project.

    Used the same technique with an old lace tablecloth to create victorian wallpaper on a play set. Looked awesome
