OOPS! - discipline list

Created on April 26, 2013 by astanley

When students need a warning to settle down they are told to go sign the OOPS! board. There is a clipboard with the OOPS! form kept near the door. Students sign their name, date, and class number. At the beginning of the year if their name is on the board three times in one class hour they get a write-up. As the year goes on they only get two or one chances. Classroom teachers are able to check the board when they collect their class and can assist in following up on discipline issues. Usually signing once helps a child settle down. All of our related arts classes at our school use the same form. Consistency is key.

Love this idea! This will probably be much easier for me to keep track of behavior with over 900 students.
