Middle [6th-8th] Unit Plan

Picasso Self Portrait

Created on November 03, 2011 by Brianne

These resources are just about everything you need to teach a 4 week unit on self portraits. Proportion is heavily discussed. Students also learn about Picasso's styles and how he liked to change proportion in his portraits, yet retain unity through his color choices. Final projects involve creating correctly proportioned self portraits and using colored chalk to incorporate a unifying color scheme.
