This is the syllabus that I will be giving to and going over with students on the first day of class.

THE PLAN
In order to try and get parents involved, I expect (or at least hope) that students will have their parents sign and then return the last portion to me. This will be a homework grade of 10 points, and every day it is late, they will loose one point. I also plan to offer the incentive of 10 extra points at the end of the year if students have kept this syllabus to refer to over the course of the school year. Ideally, it should be kept in the front of their class binder/folder.

    Thank you for sharing. I have been teaching for 25 yrs. but it is so refreshing to see another's paperwork and curriculum.
