Soles Pendants

Students use the soles of their shoes to create a unique pendant out of clay.

THE PLAN
2 sessions; 45 minutes per session

1. SBWAT create a pendant that displays texture.
2. SWBAT utilize unique materials to create art.

Shoe
Small amount of air dry clay, flattened
String

Need these materials? Visit Blick!

1. Have student flatten a ball of clay into a disk.
2. Have the student then take off their shoe and press it onto the clay to form a textured pattern.
3. Poke a hole in the top, then set aside to dry.

Students' works will be assessed visually.
