Haida Tribe-Inspired Stylized Animals!

I am extremely interested in teaching my students about the importance of different cultures and our natural environment. In this lesson, we take a look at the artwork of the First Americans from the Pacific Northwest, how they viewed nature, and how it influenced their way of life. Students will work to create their own animal image in the style of the Haida tribe, as well as writing their own associated mythological story to accompany it.
