These resources are just about everything you need to teach a 4 week unit on self portraits. Proportion is heavily discussed. Students also learn about Picasso's styles and how he liked to change proportion in his portraits, yet retain unity through his color choices. Final projects involve creating correctly proportioned self portraits and using colored chalk to incorporate a unifying color scheme. | ||||
