(Maggie Killacky) After having taught 1st grade as a part of the Teach For America 2008 Chicago Corps, I moved west to become the Founding Visual Arts teacher at KIPP Comienza Community Prep, a charter school located in East Los Angeles. Currently, I lead and moderate the Fine Arts and Electives Community on TFAnet, a space that connects beginning teachers and TFA Alumni from across the country.
