Lesson Plans

Created on March 15, 2012 by BocaMuseum

The Museum's lesson plans have been written to assist educators in applying the Visual Arts across the curriculum. Each lesson focuses on an academic skill that correlates with Florida's Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. By offering a wide range of programming, the Museum acts as a resource for educators, students and the community at large. Studio workshops for educators and students, docent led curriculum connected school tours, field trip grants, in school programming and weekend family activities are provided free of charge all year round.

THE PLAN

It is the Museum's goal to have the students, teachers, parents and the community-at-large, use its vast collection of art works as an educational resource. While it is always worthwhile to visit the Museum, we believe it is equally valuable to bring the Museum into the classroom and are pleased to offer these outstanding lesson plans to you and your students.

Please feel free to download these plans and images from our website for use in your classrooms. Be sure to revisit our website often for additional lesson plans, images and educational materials.
