Day 1:
1. In computer lab, show students a power point about Salvador Dali and discuss fantasy art/surrealist art.
2. Show students how to get to www.switchzoo.com and demonstrate how to create a fantasy animal.
3. Students get work time. By the end of class they need to have three animals printed off. They need to choose one animal to hand in. On that paper, have them write their own definition of surrealism and give their animal a name.

Day 2-3: Review surrealism and look at some surrealist landscapes. Students take two days to cut out objects out of magazines to add to their drawn landscape. Encourage crazy, not-realistic combinations.
