Winter Wonderland (Mixed Media Collage)

With the holidays upon us students will create mixed media collages with the provided worksheets.

THE PLAN
5 sessions; 25 minutes per session

1. SWBAT create a Winter/Christmas themed collage.

1. Scraps of paper
2. Glue
3. Scissors
4. Poster/bristol board/card stock
5. Art mediums

Need these materials? Visit Blick!

1. Choose one of the winter themed sheets. (See below) Then print or trace a copy onto the paper of your choice.

2. Collect scraps of paper from magazines, newspapers, construction paper or whatever type of paper you can find to use for your project.

3. Start gluing your scraps to your worksheet.

4. Using art mediums add color and textures or patterns to your picture.

If students don't want to use the worksheets provided allow them to come up with their own.
