THE PLAN
1. Students learned about the artist Fred Babb and created art logos in his style.

2. Students incorporate humor or a message through art.

1. Students learn about the artist Fred Babb through a teacher-made PowerPoint.
2. Students develop their artistic logos in their sketchbooks; first creating the saying, and then developing an image to represent it.
3. Lettering techniques are introduced.
4. Students use the posterboard and markers to create their image.

Is the lettering easily read?
Did students develop at least three ideas and thumbnails in their sketchbooks?
Students present their final work in a critique and explain their process and what their final piece is all about.
