Inexpensive Glue Caddy

Created on June 04, 2013 by artcsara

I have seen some other references on this site for creating your own caddy for various art medias. I was contemplating how to organize my glue bottles and came up with this design. I used a flat piece of styrofoam that had some grooves already in place (freebies from Bath and Body Works), Dannon fruit on the bottom yogurt containers, hot glue and patterned duct tape. I used 12 yogurt containers and hot glued the bottom of each container to keep in place. This brand of yogurt containers fit the glue bottles perfectly. The last step was wrapping around each row with the duct tape. This caddy keeps the glue upright all the time and I am able to see if all the glue has been returned at the end if class.

    That's a neat idea.
