Smarthistory.org is a free and open, not-for-profit, art history textbook. Part of the Khan Academy, we use multimedia to deliver unscripted conversations between art historians about the history of art. http://smarthistory.khanacademy.org/
This is an awesome website for students to use when studying art history of any kind (AP especially!). They could be shown in class or used as homework viewing assignments. Much more engaging than your usual art history textbook.
